Bugs Away Spray For Little And Big People

While we carry a full strength essential oil bug spray, it isn’t one I would recommend on children. Not every essential oil is considered safe for young children, and especially for infants and toddlers (peppermint is one to be wary of). This recipe can be made in two strengths, depending on age. As always, it is up to the parent to determine if a recipe is safe for youngest children. When using essential oils on children, buy trusted brands as well.

Spray on as needed, avoiding eyes, mouth and inner ears.

Bugs Away Spray (For Under 2 years of age)

Ingredients:

Directions:

Add ingredients to bottle, cap and shake gently to combine.

For safest use with smaller children/infants, spray clothing and put on, instead of using directly on skin.

Do not use on infants under 3 months of age, and if applying on skin, make sure they cannot suck on the skin (such as fingers).
