Dried vegetables and instant rice go far in making quick meals. Perfect for prepping in mason jars dry, and sealing up for later use. However, since it does contain hemp seeds, I suggest using it within 3 months. It makes an easy and filling meal if the power goes out, and is easily made on a camp stove.
- 2 cups instant rice
- ¼ cup dried vegetables
- ¼ cup shelf stable Parmesan cheese (Kraft green can)
- 2 Tbsp hemp seeds
- 2 packets broth concentrate
- 1 packet avocado oil
Bring 2¼ cups water, broth concentrate, and oil to a boil. Add in dry ingredients, stir well. Cover tightly and turn off stove. Let sit for 10 to 15 minutes.
Stir in the cheese and hemp seeds.
