Pantry Staples Banana Bread

A staple in prepping pantry staples might be a large Costco sized box of Bisquick®, but it can end up sitting there if you don’t have plans for it. This recipe pulls together quickly and your kids will love it. And who doesn’t have over ripe bananas hanging around?

Pantry Staple Banana Bread

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/3 cups mashed ripe bananas
  • 2/3 cup granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 3 Tbsp neutral oil, such as avocado
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 2/3 cups baking mix

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350°, oil a 9×5″ bread pan.

Whisk bananas through eggs together, stir in baking mix.

Spread in pan.

Bake for 60 minutes, until golden on top and a knife in the center comes out clean.

Let cool for 10 minutes, loosen sides of bread, knock out onto a cooling rack.

Once cool, store wrapped in a plastic bread bag.

Makes 1 loaf.
