Date Paste

A natural sweetener that helps when cutting back on commercial sugar, it lets one wean off easier!

Date Paste

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound medjool pitted dates (weigh after pitting)
  • 1½ cups boiling water

Directions:

Add dates and boiling water to a heat proof bowl, cover tightly, and let rest for 8 hours.

Transfer dates and water to a high-speed blender, process until a smooth paste.

Store in a glass mason jar refrigerated.

Makes about 3 cups.
