An easy to mix up and shelf stable vegan queso sauce. Use it as a dip or to drizzle on top of meals.
Vegan Queso Sauce
- 1/3 cup nutritional yeast flakes
- 2 Tbsp white whole wheat flour
- 1 Tbsp coconut milk, soy or rice milk powder
- 1 tsp onion powder (not onion salt)
- 1 tsp granulated garlic
- ½ tsp ground cumin
- ¼ tsp paprika
- ¼ tsp chili powder
- ¼ tsp fine sea salt
- 1 cup water
Mix the dry ingredients together, store in a small mason jar.
Whisk the dry ingredients with the water till smooth, in a small saucepan. Bring to bubbling over medium heat, whisking constantly. Serve immediately.
